Dr. Dass has speciality certifications recognized by national medical board examiners in several fields of Medicine. For several years, he has treated people with a variety of sleep disorders ranging from parasomnias, insomnia, sleep apnea, primary snoring, narcolepsy and more. In addition, he has excellent experience in a variety of pulmonary disorders, including lung cancer, smoking cessation, pulmonary hypertension, copd, and asthma.
Dr. Dass graduated from Georgetown Medical School and completed his residency at Loma Linda University. Thereafter, he completed a combined fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care and Sleep Medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center (CSMC) and UCLA. Dr. Dass has been practicing in the Bay area for over seven years and is privileged at several hospitals in the San Jose area, including Good Samaritan’s Medical Center, O’Connor Hospital, El Camino-Los Gatos Community Hospital and San Jose Regional Medical Center.
Visakha Goonewardena, MD Diplomat, American Board of Internal Medicine
Dr. Goonewardena has helped numerous patients while working as a hospitalist in several local community hospitals over the past decade. She has a wonderful hands-on approach with all her patients and is welcoming new patients to her outpatient practice. Over the past several years, she has treated patients with sleep apnea, insomnia and general medical issues.
Dr. Goonewardena graduated from New York University Medical School and subsequently completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Mercy-Scripps Hospital in San Diego.
Rob Maestretti, PA-C
After graduating from Stanford University, Rob has practiced in a variety of specialities and settings for over four years. While gaining invaluable experience, his patients have admired his work ethics and attention to detail. He has had thorough experience while working under the supervision of hospitalists, nephrologists, pulmonologists and orthopedic surgeons. Rob's past endeavors included a compassion to care for post-Hurricane Katrina victims and their respiratory illnesses at Tulane University Medical Center. In addition, he has had extensive research experience with the properties and use of bioaerosols at Harvard University.
